The tool makes it easy to create high-quality, aesthetically pleasing popups for your blog that tend to convert extremely well. The only drawback is the cost. Optin Monster isn't super expensive but it isn't exactly cheap. The company also got rid of their monthly payment option, which means you'll need to pay up front for an entire year. We love how well Optin Monster works, but there are less expensive tools that also perform well. For this reason, we recommend using Optin Monster on a brand new website only if your budget allows. If not, consider waiting until your website is making a solid profit before signing up for an account. There are other tools you can use in the meantime, such as Convert Plus (discussed below), which is less expensive than Optin Monster and works great.

ConvertPlus is a WordPress plugin that makes it easy to create and embed high-quality optin forms on your website. While it lacks the overall horsepower of Optin Monster, it's much less expensive (less than $25 and no monthly rebills) and works well overall. That said, we recommend upgrading to a more sophisticated tool like Optin Monster once your website traffic and earnings start to pick up.
